Facing starvation at their new fortress, the party descended into ancient Iron Warlord ruins beneath the Asymmetrical Mountain and discovered the Salt-Vaults—massive food storage chambers infested with mutated Giant Rats led by an intelligent Rat King. After fierce battles, they secured vital provisions and escaped, but the Rat King and its colony remained trapped within the sealed vaults, representing an ongoing threat.
