Act I — Level 4 — Complete
The party investigated the Grand Archive and discovered the Amalgamation was actually Subject Alpha—a transmuted person trapped in agony for two centuries after Commander Valerius sabotaged the experiment. They successfully stabilized Subject Alpha into Subject Gamma, restoring a conscious guardian who now protects the archive, and opened the Grand Stairwell to deeper mysteries below.
