Amalgamation Core
The Amalgamation Core is a magical arcane device created and installed by Professor Thaddeus Mercer within the fortress above the capstone of the Asymmetrical Mountain.
Function
The core serves as a sympathetic resonator with the magical and containment energies of the mountain. It hums in vibration with significant fluctuations in the underlying systems, such as when passing through the capstone breach into the Giant foundation level. It acts as an early warning system and diagnostic tool for the fortress's magical environment.
