The Asymmetrical Mountain is a geologically anomalous peak located northwest of Grimhold in the Starmetal Hills. It is distinguished by its unnaturally sharp ascent and off-center peak, suggesting a possible artificial origin.
Description
The mountain's interior is a multi-layered containment facility constructed by successive civilizations. Its summit hosts surface ruins, beneath which lie the Dwarven Layer of Kazad-Khrom and the deeper Giant foundation level. The interior features constructed elements including ancient stairwells, worked stone corridors, and massive architectural works.
Reputation
Local prospectors from Grimhold generally avoid the area due to persistent rumors of misfortune and strange phenomena associated with the site. The Prospectors' Guild has officially registered a claim to the fortress within the mountain.
