Drowned Chokepoint
The Drowned Chokepoint is a critical junction point located at the deepest navigable level of the Dwarven Layer in Kazad-Khrom, directly above the Giant Capstone.
Description
It is the intersection where every drainage pipe, pump circuit, and overflow channel in the Dwarven Layer converges. The area was submerged for centuries until the activation of the geothermal pumps at Pump Station East began draining it, revealing extensive modifications by the Twisted.
Significance
The chokepoint served as a Twisted staging area and workshop. It is the location where the Drowned Juggernaut was stationed and where the Twisted breached the Giant Capstone, allowing the influence of the Sleeper to leak into the mountain's upper layers. Securing this location is critical to maintaining the mountain's containment integrity.
