Drowned Juggernaut
The Drowned Juggernaut is a massive, corrupted dwarven mining automaton located at the Drowned Chokepoint in Kazad-Khrom.
Description
Standing approximately fifteen to eighteen feet tall, the construct is a masterpiece of ancient dwarven engineering designed for deep excavation. It has been extensively rebuilt by the Twisted; its mechanical components are fused with organic materials and coated in a black, regenerative resin. Bioluminescent growths pulse along its limbs.
History and Purpose
According to The Keeper, such juggernauts were originally deployed for containment breach mitigation. The Twisted repurposed this unit, modifying it with bioengineering to drill through the Giant Capstone. After the capstone was breached, the Sleeper reactivated and reprogrammed the juggernaut, using it as a tool to advance toward the mountain's baffle layer and complete the containment failure.
