The Dwarven Master Forge Key is a complex iron key that controls the master forge systems within the Cold Forge.
Discovery and Function
The key was salvaged from the core mechanism of the destroyed Drowned Juggernaut. It is designed to unlock the master forge controls at the Cold Forge, enabling the facility to operate at its full, historical capacity. Without the concurrent operation of the mountain's pump system to provide necessary coolant, the key was previously useless.
Current Use
With the pump system active, the key completes the forge's operational requirements. Its use allows for the full-capacity operation of the Cold Forge, which is necessary for advanced metallurgical work, including the forging of adamantine.
