Military Empire
The Military Empire was an ancient, expansionist human civilization that occupied a layer deep within the Asymmetrical Mountain. It was the last human civilization to build there before the dwarven catastrophe made lower levels too dangerous.
History
The Empire built directly atop the dwarven ruins, constructing great halls, garrison quarters, and trophy rooms. Its philosophy emphasized engineering over enchantment, and it made extensive use of chronomancy to preserve conquered knowledge and peoples. The weight of its own construction began to crack the dwarven vaults below.
