Rail-Warden Unit 7
Rail-Warden Unit 7 is a self-maintaining maintenance and security construct originally deployed by the Kazad-Khrom Mining Collective to patrol the minecart network.
Description
The construct possesses twelve mechanical legs for rail and tunnel traversal and optical lenses for surveillance. Its programming includes network maintenance protocols and basic security functions. Its speech is grinding and broken but intelligible Dwarvish.
Current Status
Damaged and missing several leg segments, Unit 7 has operated autonomously for centuries. It initiated contact with surface explorers after the network's reactivation, providing schematics and behavioral data on Kellashen in exchange for assistance in clearing the threat. It retains records of the network's history and later modifications made by the Brotherhood of the Silent Vigil.
