Sealed Crypt
The Sealed Crypt is a lead-sealed dwarven mausoleum located in the upper Dwarven Layer of the Asymmetrical Mountain.
Purpose and Design
Constructed by the Kazad-Khrom dwarves, the crypt served as a radiation monitoring station. It contains fourteen perfectly preserved dwarven dead, whose bodies act as biological sensors for Dreamstone corruption. The chamber was meticulously sealed with thick lead plates to contain any leakage.
Recent History
Centuries after its sealing, stress fractures appeared in the lead, allowing corruption to leak into the surrounding corridors. The fissure in the floor that was the source of the leak was sealed, temporarily restoring containment.
