Starmetal Hills
The Starmetal Hills are a rugged, cold region surrounding the mining town of Grimhold on the continent of Laternia.
Geography and Resources
The terrain is barren and windswept, pockmarked with prospector claims and ancient ruins. The hills are named for the rich and unusual ore deposits found within them, which are the economic lifeblood of the region. The geologically anomalous Asymmetrical Mountain rises from these hills.
Significance
The hills serve as the operating ground for adventurers and prospectors. They are also the location of the party's Fortress Base. Environmental disturbances from the mountain, such as the metallic scent of Dreamstone corruption, are often first detected by miners working in these hills.
