This influence manifests as a deep, resonant hum that vibrates through the mountain's stone and can corrupt dwarven constructs, creating beings known as The Twisted. Its energy is associated with Dreamstone radiation.
Containment History
The dwarves employed a multi-layered containment strategy involving lead-sealed chambers, radiation monitoring, and the creation of adamantine dream-mirrors designed to reflect the entity's own energy back upon itself, reinforcing its prison. Recent activities at The Cold Forge, including the restoration of coolant flow and the forging of new adamantine plates, have drawn the Black Slumber's attention and provoked defensive responses through its corrupted agents.
