Wardstone Abbey
Overview
Wardstone Abbey is a fortified religious installation located two days northwest of Grimhold, constructed atop the ancient Temple of Annam, a relic of the Giant civilization. It once served as the headquarters of the Knights of Bahamut, but fell into neglect and corruption over time.
Recent History
The Abbey is captured from the cult known as the Bringers of the Dawn by the mercenary company of Corbin the Smelter, Karn the Unbroken, and Rhen. They convert it into their permanent base of operations.
Subterranean Complex
Beneath the Abbey lie extensive catacombs. Deeper still, within the Temple of Annam, a fragment of the Black Stone is hidden.
